The Sagem F@st^TM 2444 is a double-play Wi-Fi modem/router allowing the operators to offer IP video services such as HD TV and VoD diffusion as well as wireless high speed access to Internet.

Connected on WAN side in ADSL2+ offering a data bit rate up to 24 Mbps, the Sagem F@st^TM 2444 ensures the HD IPTV traffic to the set top box thanks to the embedded snooping/proxy agent. The video management features, realized on the layers 2 and 3, allow in particular the reservation of port and the dynamic choice of port. IP performances also ensure the transparent management of the voice over IP and the management of QoS.

Thus, by connecting a Sagem F@st^TM 2444 on a IP phone, an ATA or a Wi-Fi phone, the user can profit from Voice over IP services transforming his modem/router into genuine triple-play platform.

The Sagem F@st^TM 2444 operates on ADSL2+ over ISDN line, has four Ethernet ports and, in option, one USB master port, allowing, for example, to connect a hard disk or a dongle memory to increase the storage capacity. It integrates an interface Wi-Fi 802.11g with an integrated antenna thus optimizing the performances of the subscriber network.
