Right of visitors as regards processing of their personal data by Sagemcom SAS
Sagemcom SAS (hereinafter “Sagemcom”), responsible for processing, informs visitors to the site sagemcom.com (hereinafter the “Site”) that it processes personal data via its website for the following main reasons:
- management of the institutional site;
- statistical analysis of site usage;
- management and follow-up of contacts with visitors;
- after-sales service;
- market research.
Fields identified by an asterisk on forms present on the Site are mandatory. Failure to answer these questions may affect the processing of the request or render it impossible.
Internal rules and cross-border trade agreements have been signed by Sagemcom to ensure the security of the data concerned by this trade.
You have the right to access, query and rectify your personal data, as necessary to correct, complete, update, lock or remove any personal data that is incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous, out of date or the collection, use, communication or conservation of which is forbidden.
You also have the right to refuse that this data be processed for legitimate reasons and the right to refuse that this data be used for commercial purposes.
All these rights may be exercised by post accompanied by a copy of your identity to the Data Protection Office at the following address: Sagemcom SAS, Data Protection Officer, 250 route de l’Empereur, 92500 Rueil-Malmaison.
When someone visits the site www.sagemcom.com, Sagemcom installs cookies on the hard disk of the visitor’s computer.
Cookies are data used by a web server to send status information to a user’s browser, and for the browser to send back status information to the original web server.
The status information may for example be a session login, a language, an expiry date, a response domain, etc.

In particular, it does not cross-reference personal data requested for example in forms on the site or when you connect to your private area with the information required for statistics, to identify you.

With Internet Explorer 9, to refuse all cookies or some of them depending on their nature, you should go to “tools”, click on internet options, then on the confidentiality tab and select the confidentiality parameter “advanced”. However, deactivating cookies may prevent some functions of the Site from working properly.
