The Philips Magic5 Eco is a range of 7 different models from low end to high end, with incredibly low power consumption in stand-by mode. These products follow a new program focused on low energy consumption: the Philips Green Program.

What puts the “Eco” into the name of the latest Philips thermal transfer range?

The energy consumption of the new Philips Magic5 Eco range in stand by mode is among the lowest in the market. This is particularly important for telecom products, which are intended to be switched on permanently, allowing thus the user to save both energy and money. On top of that, these products have been "eco-designed", which means less raw materials and reduced packaging volumes as compared to previous ranges.

An eco & high performance range

The Philips Magic5 Eco range combines fax and phone functions (except Basic model), an integrated answering machine and an easy to use copier. These products are the perfect communication centres for home and home office. All models come with a paper tray for up to 50 sheets, a 10 page ADF (automatic document feeder) and from 15 to 50 pages memory.

Distinctive ring tones which can be assigned to individual phone numbers, predefined fax forms for several different purposes and in various different languages and caller identification are only a few examples among the numerous features provided by this latest range of Philips Magic5 Eco fax machines. For your outmost convenience all the machines are equipped with a bright message button that allows you to access any new message with one quick touch.

Most of the devices are SMS ready which means that you can conveniently send and receive SMS over the landline, print and save up to 30 messages and broadcast the messages to up to five recipients. Thanks to the innovative SMS notification feature you are notified about missed calls, received faxes and new messages.

The whole Philips Magic5 Eco range is equipped with the Sudoku printing function. This famous Japanese game has created a great hype and is played by numerous enthusiasts all over the world.

With the Magic5 Eco devices the end user can print ready-to-play Sudoku grids of 4 different levels (easy, medium, tough and devil) directly from their fax machine. Of course, it is also possible to re-print the latest grid, make copies or get the solutions if necessary.
