The TAINY GMOD-S3 replaces a traditional AT-controlled switched line or leased line modem, allowing applications to communicate with a control center or among one another bi-directionally via GPRS while keeping costs to a minimum.

A serial RS232 interface makes it possible to easily integrate this GPRS modem into existing technical infrastructures. Regardless of the operating system used by the application, this GPRS modem uses TCP/IP networks for communication.

Incoming as well as outgoing GSM/CSD data calls are supported.
