Job description

In order to reinforce our support to our broadband customers in North America, Sagemcom is growing its software development team in Dallas, focusing on residential gateways development and is looking for 2 software developers core middleware.


Main tasks

-Specify together with our Marketing team and our customers the features of the products designed for our NAM customers
-Software developments of specified services
-Embedded middleware & software developments based on Linux and associated services.
-Related software & system validation.
-Integration of open sourced components and interfacing with the gateway middleware.
-Support the customers for any issues raised (on-site and remote investigation, bug fixing)

Job requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in embedded software development.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP(v4, v6) networks and related protocols
Minimum 3 years' experience in embedded software development.
C, C++ languages.
SW development tools: GIT, Jira.
Linux embedded developments and associated tools (user space - kernel space as a plus).
Good knowledge on embedded middleware, applications and services.
Networking knowledge (IPv4, IPv6, routing/bridging, IPtables, NAT, VPN, WiFi, MAP-T, …).
OpenVSwitch knowledge is a plus.
Ability to understand complex software architectures.
Continuous integration and Agile Software development methods.
