PHASE 2 OF THE DEPLOYEMENT BY ENEXIS OF G3-PLC METERS FROM SAGEMCOM CONFIRMS THE ROBUSTNESS OF THIS TECHNOLOGY THAT IS NEEDED FOR A MASS ROLLOUT OF G3-PLC.

The first assessment of the deployment of G3-PLC meters in the Netherlands by Enexis, for which more than half have been supplied by Sagemcom, has demonstrated the robustness of this solution and its interoperability between several suppliers.

For Lonneke Driessen, Enexis Smart Metering Technology Director: “When we started our field trials in G3-PLC, we were hoping to get much better results than with our former tests in S-FSK PLC. We have been very positively surprised by the good results and we are quite confident for the mass rollout.”

This second phase of the project G3-PLC of Enexis is the proof of the maturity of the G3 Standard and confirms the efficiency of the PLC solution which allows to match the level of services for data collection and alarm monitoring of GSM/GPRS.
