Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for software development of specified services and embedded middleware and software development based on Linux and associated services. Responsible for analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources. Validate new software and system product designs. Perform integration of open sourced components and interface with the gateway middleware. Support and resolve any issues raised through local and remote investigation and bug fixing.

Job requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in Linux embedded software development and design. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience as stated. All stated experience must include: C, C++ languages, Linux and associated tools, development in user space, and embedded middleware, applications, and services. Qualified candidate must also have networking experience with IP v4 or v6, TCP, routing/bridging, and Agile software development methods.
