SAGEMCOM’S XMEDIUSFAX^TM APPLICATION HAS BEEN CERTIFIED ON THE BROADSOFT PLATFORM.

MONTREAL, Canada (May xxx, 2013) - Sagemcom, a global leader in advanced fax server solutions for IP networks since 2002, is announcing that XMediusFAX^TM 7.0 has been successfully validated as interoperable with BroadWorks Release 19 SIP interface by Broadsoft.

BroadWorks, a VoIP communications application server, enables Service Providers to offer a comprehensive portfolio of value added business and consumer communication applications from a unique network platform. XMediusFAX^TM 7.0 helps businesses leverage their IP network and IP telephony initiatives, by allowing users to easily and securely transmit orders, records, reports, and confidential documents directly from popular Microsoft Office products, ERP and CRM applications.

Thanks to this new technology partnership, Sagemcom now expands the choices available to Broadsoft customers. By integrating multiple forms of communication, Sagemcom’s XMediusFAX^TM FoIP solution helps companies and end users increase their employee productivity and reduce their costs.

The XMediusFAX^TM application will enrich Broadsoft’s Unified Communication offering with a cost-saving boardless fax solution. Broadsoft’s customers will be able to add faxing as part of their service offering to their clients with no hardware investment. It will also enable them to have access to a virtualized environment to send and receive their faxes from remote locations.

Sagemcom hopes to help support the Broadsoft community by offering its partners a leading edge fax software technology that integrates easily into their Broadworks environment.
