With its different gas meters, Sagemcom is in a position to supply a management system for the entire grid, with detailed readings of consumption by individual meter.

Metering systems

Sagemcom’s goal is to offer its gas utility customers top-quality solutions that facilitate the management of their grids, from the metering devices to the supply of the collected data.

The end-to-end solution developed by Sagemcom is based on the supply of connected meters that enable the grid to be managed remotely.

These connected meters use different communication protocols for data transmission that is adapted to each use case.

The gas metering systems on offer from Sagemcom cover a broad range of consumption, from individual residential meters, to industrial meters designed for major gas consumers.

Communication technologies

Sagemcom uses two major types of communication technologies in its gas metering solutions:

Through-a-gateway technology that sends and stores the data collected by the metering devices in local data concentrators, and/or by multi-energy smart meters, before being sent to the operating system over wide area networks (WAN)
Cellular technology enables metering devices to communicate directly with the information system over mobile telephone networks.

The consumption data collected by the Sagemcom meters is then sent to the operating system installed by Sagemcom

Our Siconia software solutions

Siconia Software Solutions est une solution logicielle complète proposant plusieurs services : le monitoring, le network management system, la mise en place d’alarme, la sécurité du réseau de bout-en-bout, ainsi que le recueil et la gestion de données.

Notre solution de SI d’acquisition est basée sur SICONIA ZFA qui est utilisée par plus de 200 clients dans le monde (Luxmetering, AMC, Eon, Voltaris)

La plateforme Siconia est utilisée pour la gestion des compteurs et permet la visualisation de l’état et des données des compteurs. Notre solution de bout-en-bout permet le suivi par client de la consommation de gaz. Ces vues sont disponibles sur Internet pour les clients en utilisant un navigateur Internet standard.

Siconia Software permet de surveiller le taux effectif de collecte de données et permet également de préparer des rapports sur la collecte de données.

Data transmission is fully encrypted using the AES 128 protocol, irrespective of the communication protocol.
Sagemcom implements the ISO 27001 standard to guarantee the confidentiality of information on exchanges of keys with the Sagemcom personnel and supplies the keys to its customers by secure delivery.
